BS-ECON - Economics Major (B.S.)

Students who think they may be interested in graduate work in economics are advised to seek the B.S. in economics degree and supplement it with additional mathematics courses as explained in the requirements under the heading “Students considering pursuing graduate studies in economics.” In addition, the BS in Economics at Trinity College has been designated as a STEM Extension eligible major by the State of Connecticut Office of Higher Education. For international students who graduate with a BS in Economics, this means they will be able to use their regular Optional Practical Training for one year and then apply for an additional two years of work authorization under the OPT STEM Extension.
