Program Requirements
Credit 1: Core Requirement
ENGR 323L. Microprocessor Systems (with grade B or better): Students will learn the steps of translating application specifics to design criteria, hardware components, creating system schematics, and developing application programs. Major topics include computer system architecture, analog to digital conversion, signal conditioning circuits, interrupts design, real-time control, and output display.

ENGR 116. Introduction to Biomedical Engineering
CHEM 312. Instrumental Methods of Chemical Analysis
CHEM 410. Bioanalytical Chemistry
Credit 3: Co-Curricular Activity (choose one)

Research Activity in designing and implementing frequency selective filters, multiple-channel amplifiers with adjustable gain, ECG signal data acquisition system, or apnea monitor
Design and implementation of instrumentation for chemical analysis or other approved research experience
