Program Requirements
Students who wish to minor in Hebrew, must take six courses designed to develop linguistic skills and to give a basic understanding of Israeli cultures and society.
Five of these six courses must be language courses such as the sequence HEBR 101, 102, 201, 202, and 301. In addition, students are required to take a literature and/or culture course in English: JWST 220. Modern Israeli Literature and Jewish Heritage or JWST 229. Israeli Art and Culture. No more than one transfer credit may be applied to the minor.
A Jewish Studies program or Religious Studies course may count toward this minor. Students must earn a minimum of C for all courses counted toward the minor.
